Katie loves CrossFit for the confidence it’s given her in her athletic abilities. She was never an athlete and claims to be horrible at sports but CrossFit has given her a chance to develop her own natural abilities. Katie constantly works toward developing her athletic abilities and improving her fitness, and she’s happy to have the opportunity to now help others that are in the position that she was years ago. She’s also a mother of 2 and enjoys hitting workouts with her husband and beating him at them!
In Katie’s words: “l love helping members work towards and achieve their goals, such as helping someone get comfortable with handstand holds — one of my favorites! — or helping develop good form and technique to get those PR’s, or trying to give them the encouragement to finish a WOD. We all started somewhere and as long as people are showing up to class I don’t care what they have to do to scale the workout to finish it, just that they are showing up and giving it their all!”
